ひとりの歴史上の人物、〈偉人〉をどう捉えなおしていけばいいのか。 本書は、地域史の視座から〈偉人〉金原明善（きんぱらめいぜん）を捉えなおし、さまざまな視座から、近世・近代転換期日本における地域史像を豊かにしていく。その人物の辞書的記述だけではわからない、知られていないさまざまな〈顔〉をどう探すのか。 そのために本書は以下、3つの点に重点を置く。1つは明善の活動を、一人の偉人が自己の理想を一筋に貫いていく過程と捉えるのではなく、当時の全国的な政治・経済・社会状況や、周囲の多くの人々との相互関係のなかに位置づける。2つ目は明善と金原家のこれまであまり知られてこなかった側面に光を当てる。3つ目は明善を長い時間軸のなかに置いて見直していく、である。 〈偉人〉はどう捉えなおせばいいか、根源的に考える書。執筆は、伴野文亮・渡辺尚志・伊故海貴則・棚井仁・高柳友彦・佐藤敏彦・井口裕紀・浜名高校史学部（畑陽日希・伊藤晴信・森下陽斗）・武田真幸。

- Shipping from Japan: ¥2,000 for the first book, ¥1,200 for each additional book. Ships within 5 business days; delivery usually 7–14 days (rarely up to 30).

Shipping
We ship worldwide (excluding Japan). Shipping is added at checkout, and each additional book costs less to ship than the first – the amounts are shown in your currency on the product page and in the cart. Orders ship from Japan via Japan Post within 5 business days (excluding Japanese weekends and holidays); delivery typically takes 10–30 days after shipment.
Depending on the number of books and total weight, your order may be split into multiple parcels because of Japan Post weight limits (e.g. 2 kg per parcel). There is no extra charge, and each parcel has its own tracking number.
Import duties and taxes (VAT, etc.) are the responsibility of the recipient under local law (DDU). Parcels returned because delivery was refused are not refunded.
Returns
Because books can be read or copied once opened, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. For missing or misbound pages, shipping damage or an incorrect item, contact us with photos within 7 days of delivery. Minor shelf wear from distribution (light rubbing or small creases) is normal for new books and is not covered.
